tomatoes always taste best when you grow them yourself, like dirt and sunshine!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous, how do you grow dirt and sunshine?
ReplyDeleteNothing beats a Jersey tom! and I'm from Jersey (did you guess?)! if you're not from Jersey, come visit us - in Jersey - and take home a bushel of tomatoes! seriously, they're Italian, they're American, they're whatever you make them. Fresh from the garden - can't be beat!
ReplyDeleteSeptember 22nd?!! Fall is finally coming? Yahoo!! Only thing I'll miss are the summer tomatoes and my backyard basil.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to say tomatoes since I buy watermelon all year round. Out of season, the tomatoes are different creatures, but they're still great baked or broiled.
